Shop by brand

The Shop by Brand section allows merchants to showcase product brands using Shopify Metaobjects. Each brand is managed as a separate Metaobject entry, making it easier to organize brand information, featured products, and promotional content in a centralized and scalable structure.

This section is ideal for multi-brand stores that want to create dedicated brand discovery experiences while highlighting featured products from each brand in an interactive layout.

The Shop by Brand feature provides flexible brand display options across the storefront. It can display all available brands together with a search feature on the dedicated Shop by Brand page, display brands related to a specific collection, and showcase featured brands directly inside the header dropdown megamenu for quicker customer access and better brand visibility.

Brand metaobject structure

The section uses a Shopify Metaobject type named Brand (Type: brand). Each brand entry must contain the following fields and corresponding keys.

Name
Key: name
Defines the brand name displayed throughout the section.

Image
Key: image
Uploads the featured image or logo used for the brand.

Featured
Key: featured
Allows merchants to mark a brand as featured.

Description
Key: description
Adds rich text content describing the brand.

Featured products
Key: featured_products
Allows merchants to select a list of featured products associated with the brand.

Using consistent brand imagery, well-organized featured products, and balanced typography can help create a cleaner and more professional brand discovery experience while making it easier for customers to explore products by brand.
