Customer review

The Customer Review section allows merchants to display customer testimonials and product feedback in a responsive grid layout. This section helps build trust and social proof by showcasing real customer experiences, making the storefront feel more reliable and engaging for potential buyers.

Each customer review is created using a section block, allowing merchants to add personalized review content, customer information, ratings, and related products.

Settings

  • Star color: Controls the color used for the customer rating stars displayed inside review items.
  • Number of columns on desktop: Defines how many review columns are displayed on desktop devices.
  • Number of columns on tablet: Adjusts the review grid layout for tablet devices.
  • Number of columns on mobile: Controls the number of review columns displayed on mobile devices for responsive layouts.

Block: Item

Each customer testimonial inside the section is created using a Customer Review Item block.

  • Image: Uploads the customer avatar or profile image displayed inside the review item.
  • Name: Defines the customer name displayed with the review.
  • Job: Adds the customer’s profession, role, or job title.
  • Rating (Star): Controls the number of stars displayed for the customer rating.
  • Description: Adds the main customer review or testimonial content.
  • Product: Selects the product associated with the customer review.

Using authentic customer feedback, balanced review layouts, and consistent imagery can help improve storefront credibility and create a more trustworthy shopping experience. Associating reviews with specific products can also help customers better understand real product experiences before making a purchase.
